KITTY HAWK KITES "KIDS DAY" TO BEGIN WEDNESDAY, JUNE 10TH

Nags Head, NC (June 2009) – Kitty Hawk Kites is excited to announce the return of Kid’s Day, a free family event held every week at the Kitty Hawk Kites store in Nags Head.

Kids Day, sponsored in part by The Lost Colony and Jockey’s Ridge Crossing, begins Wednesday, June 10, and continues through Labor Day. Children and families are invited to visit the Kitty Hawk Kites store in Nags Head, between 10am and 2pm every Wednesday for free fun. Activities include kite making, toy demonstrations, water balloon launching and other arts and craft activities. Members of The Lost Colony offer face painting and a chance to meet the cast of the 2009 performances.

Kids Days are also offered at alternate Kitty Hawk Kites locations throughout the Outer Banks. In Corolla, Kids Days are held on Tuesday, from 3PM-5PM at the Kitty Hawk Kites location in Monteray Plaza. Tuesday is also Kids Day for the Hatteras location, from 10AM to 12PM, and the Avon location, 4PM-6PM. The new Kitty Hawk Kites Kiteboarding Resort in Waves holds Kids Days on Thursday, from 4PM to 6PM.
