Parafoil kites are a great choice for beginner pilots. Along with Delta Kites, Parafoil kites are among the easiest to fly and are very stable in the sky. Parafoil kites are soft kites with cells that are "inflated" by the wind; there are no fiberglass pieces to assemble and no parts to get lost. Parafoil kites come in a variety of colors and sizes, appealing to almost every age group.
Another great feature of a Parafoil kite is their size…the stuff into small pouches (depending on the kite size) that make them perfect for traveling and on-the-go fun. Parafoil kites fly best in winds of 6-20 mph and many include the necessary line and tails with the kite. Parafoil kites can be used to fly multiple tails, windsocks and "line laundry" and some people even use particular models for kite aerial photography.
