July 12-13 - 30th Annual Wright Kite Festival - Wright Brother’s Memorial (mp 8), Kill Devil Hills, presented by Kitty Hawk Kites. This festival is enjoyed by all ages with a spectacular kite show put on by Larger than Life Kites. Come see a 100ft. Octopus, 50ft Scuba diver and many other dance in the air during this jaw dropping event. There will also be stunt kite demos, games, kids kite making, and contests. Kids can make and fly their kites where flight began. Events begin mid morning and continue through the afternoon.
