Surf Lessons are a great way to enjoy your visit to Virginia Beach. We book private lessons versus big group surf lessons to ensure that you get the personalized attention that you need to learn quickly and start shredding the waves.
Individual private surf lessons and 2-person “semi-private” lessons are available for booking. Book online or give us a call to set up your reservation today!
Learn the fundamentals of surfing. We discuss the importance of ocean safety, how to identify rip currents, and how to read ocean conditions. We warm up with some surf specific stretches. Then we practice standing up on the board on the beach before we get in the water. After that it’s into the ocean to learn how to paddle properly and catch your first wave. There is over an hour of hands on practice in the water. Surfboard and leash are provided.
Private Surf Lessons are the perfect way to advance your skills and learn to surf as quickly as possible. With an individual private, you’ll have 1:1 instruction and complete focus on your skills. Surfboard and leash are provided.
