Bring the family for a fun day on the water! Go fishing , swimming or exploring with one of our easy to operate pontoon boat rentals. We have 12 passenger and 15 passenger boats available in Duck and at Whalebone Water Sports in Nags Head.

All of our boats are equipped with quiet and efficient 50 hp Yamaha four stroke engines, anchors, swim ladders, Bimini tops for shade, plus GPS and depth sounders for safe navigation.

All rentals include life jackets and one tank of gas.

Pontoon Boat FAQs

Do we need  boating license? No. The driver of the boat will, however,  need a driver’s license.

Can we tow anything?  No.  For insurances reasons, towing a tube, waterskis, etc. is prohibited.  You are welcome to bring an inner tube to float on in the sound!

Can we go fishing? Yes! Equipment can be rented and a fishing licence can be purchased from many local bait & tackle shops

Where can we go? Guests may travel up to 5 miles from the dock in any direction.

What is included in my rental? The boat itself,  fuel,  personal flotation devices (PFDs), swim ladders, and an anchor are all provided with your rental.

Do we need to wear life vests?  PFDs for everyone on the boat are provided, and children uner 12 are required to wear them

Do you have someone who can drive the boat for us? No. If no one in your party feels comfortable driving, please consider one of our tour boats or inshore excursions.

Does my infant count as a person? Yes!  According to coast guard regulations, all members of the party count towards your total number.

Can we bring our dog? Yes! You do assume full responsibility for anything the dog does on the boat.

Can we bring food and drinks on the boat? Yes! you are responsible for bringing any trash off the boat with you.

What if we have fewer people than the boat can hold?  Prices remain the same no matter how many people you bring on the boat.

What if we want to stay out longer? If the boat is not booked, we may be able to provide extensions day-of.

Where do I board my boat? If you reserved in Duck, check in and boarding are at 1226 Duck Road on the Duck Boardwalk.  Look for the reservations kiosk. If you reserved in Nags Head,  check in and boarding are at 7517 South Virginia Dare Trail at our Whalebone Junction location.
