The new book, “The Lost Colony and Hatteras Island,” has made its way to the Outer Banks to uncover an important part of the islands’ history. Finally the mystery of the lost colony has been solved. More than a theory, 10 years of archaeological digs on Hatteras Island and analysis from scientists from around the world can now prove a majority if not all of the lost colonists assimilated with the Croatoan Indians on Hatteras Island.
Come out to Kitty Hawk Kites in Nags Head at 1 PM on Wednesday, July 8th to meet author Scott Dawson and get a book signed. Dawson will also be signing at Kitty Hawk Kites in Hatteras at 3:30 PM and will return to Kitty Hawk Kites in Nags Head at 6:00 PM the same day, July 8th.
