Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge Kayak Tour (Seasonal Sunset Tours Available)
Glide along the peaceful salt marshes of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Pea Island is known as a birders paradise and is home to over 265 different species. Search for ospreys, herons, egrets, ibis, terns, pelicans, rails, skimmers, wrens, and warbles just to name a few. Follow your guide in and out of several shallow coves and canals, where the birds feed and seek refuge. With the mainland just out sight over the horizon, this is one of the few places on the east coast to watch the sun set right over the water.

Graveyard of the Atlantic Kayak Tour (Seasonal Sunset Tours Available)
Hatteras boasts some of the most historic waters on the Outer Banks. Learn the legend of Blackbeard the Pirate, and find out why this area is known as the graveyard of the Atlantic. The tour starts right from our store at Hatteras Landing and travels north through the marshes of this charming fishing village. There is no shortage of wildlife here, as Osprey, pelicans, cormorants, ibis, and terns are all common sightings. In the evening, join us on relaxing paddle under a beautiful Hatteras sunset.
